πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦±[NEW] Assignee & Owner

Page Assignee

ACNC introduced a new term, page assignee. Similarly to Jira, every page can have exactly 1 assignee at a time. This feature is designed to support using Confluence as a lightweight Project Management tool, where your pages function as "Tasks" - where content is also created. With the new Page Assignee featureβ€”combined with the Page status and Preview featuresβ€”you can achieve a Jira-like work-management experience while managing pages in Confluence.

To enable this feature, edit the page and edit the macro with the small pencil.

The assignee can be shown and changed only in the page tree view. This feature is enabled by default when inserting a macro and can be turned off/changed in the macro settings when editing the page.

While changing the assignee, there are 2 sections:

  • People automatically suggested who were editors of the page in the past

  • At the bottom, people listed who match the search criteria

The last assignee and the change date can be viewed by hovering on the assignee icon.

Only a person with view page permission can be set as a Page Assignee.

Page Owner

Page Owners can be shown and changed in the page tree view. This feature is enabled by default in the space page and can be turned on in the macro settings when editing a page with ACNC inserted.

Only the current Owner, Confluence, and space administrators can transfer ownership of your page to another user.

In rare cases (when it is valuable for you), Page Owners can be used together with the Page Assignee feature. To do this, you should select "Show both" in the macro settings when editing the page where ACNC was inserted.
