# Authorizing Email This Issue to access Microsoft 365 accounts

To authorize Email This Issue access the Microsoft 365 account you’d like to fetch emails from or to use to send emails, you must click the Authorization button under [Outgoing Mail Connections](/email-this-issue/email-this-issue-for-jira-server-data-center/documentation/administration/outgoing-mail-connections.md) or [Incoming Mail Accounts](/email-this-issue/email-this-issue-for-jira-server-data-center/documentation/administration/incoming-mail-connections.md).

1\. Select the Microsoft 365 Account.

2\. Follow the set of steps to authenticate yourself in the Microsoft account. Once completed, you get back to Email This Issue either the authentication was successful or unsuccessful.

3\. Verify that the authorization was successful.
