# Sending issue list

To enable the **"Send issue list"** option, one of the following conditions must be met:

* An app administrator must enable the "All users may send issue list emails" toggle under **Email This Issue Administration > Permissions to Send Emails Manually.**
* A Project Administrator must grant this permission to specific users, roles, or groups within a Jira Space.

After executing a search query and selecting the **"Send issue list in email"** option, a pop-up window opens where you can specify the following email details:

* Recipients
* Subject
* Body
* Template

{% hint style="info" %}

* **Template Selection:** The template selector displays templates from the List category only.
* **JQL Filter:** The JQL filter field is read-only and displays the original search query.
  {% endhint %}

If the **"All users may send issue list emails"** option is disabled, the following error message will appear on the form:

**Important Note on Permissions:** If the search result includes issues for which the user has Browse permission but lacks the "Send issue list in Email" permission (e.g., if the issues belong to different projects with different permission schemes), only the issues for which the user holds the required sending permission will be included in the list. All other issues will be automatically excluded from the email.
