I have used the macro before, but now it says "Need to authenticate to server!". What to do?

You have used the macro before, you were authenticated to the server, but now it unexpectedly says "Please authenticate to server!" where the macro should be:

Cause of event

If set by an Odoo administrator, the server requires you to re-authenticate periodically. The time period after which the server asks the user to re-authenticate can be set by the Odoo administrator.

Resolution

Re-authenticate as detailed in the Authenticating to an Odoo Server section. If you are an administrator and would like to re-set the time after which the server asks the user to re-authenticate, please follow the Application settings guide.
