# Overview

The main goal of Content Exporter is to export your Confluence content easily and in a customizable manner both on the Server, Data Center and Cloud platforms. For an overview, see the following video:

Once installed with a valid license key, a new **Content Exporter** section will appear in the **Admin** menu of your Confluence as shown in the following image:

On the Cloud version, the **Remote API** menu option is also present.

You can also access it from the **Tools** menu of your Confluence pages, as illustrated here:
